SelectSim
A statistical framework for detecting co-mutational patterns among genomic alterations in cancer.
Problem: Identifying which combinations of genomic alterations are selected together during cancer evolution, beyond what is expected by chance.
My contribution: Contributed to development and application of the method, extending prior work on evolutionary dependencies (Mina et al.).
Status: Published, actively maintained

CellAtlasSearch
A scalable search engine for single-cell and bulk expression profiles, using GPU-accelerated Locality-Sensitive Hashing (LSH) for fast similarity search across large reference atlases.
Problem: The rapid growth of single-cell expression data required a fast, massively parallel way to search and query across large reference collections.
My contribution: Co-first author; contributed to the GPU-based LSH search architecture and indexing of reference expression profiles.
